Chick Watch

We are pleased to announce a healthy brood of seven lovely little chicks

Leicester Grammar Junior School are thrilled with the arrival of seven beautiful little chicks.

Mrs Green has been lovingly incubating a batch of rare breed eggs for the last 21 days and now they are happily chirping away and exploring their new environment. It has been a valuable opportunity for pupils to learn all about the development of a chick inside an egg, and watching them struggle to hatch into new life over the last few days.

Mrs Green is extremely happy with their growth so far and we are enjoying the variety between them and the exuberance and happy chatter they have brought to the science lab!
